Good Morning My Beautiful Girl: This painting represents all the love my boyfriend and I experienced. He was the first man who showed me what unconditional love was. For two and a half years he sent me a text each day "Good morning my beautiful girl". When we broke up, I turned to art as a means to heal.
He called me his messenger therefore I depicted myself as a Dove and him as Song Sparrow. He always has a song on his heart, and he was my sunshine on cloudy days. A Purple Heart medal is displayed on his chest to represent his heroism. The picture is painted on the fields of home. The Palouse, a place of peace and what people call "God's country".
