In 2019 a coach shared this resource with me. It has literally changed my life!
I remember looking in the mirror being so disappointed with my life. I did not know who I was or where I was going. Heading into middle age after my second divorce I knew I needed an overhaul but did not know where to begin. I was overweight in debt and timid. I was my own worst enemy. Sometimes when we hit rock bottom, we can feel hopeless with no one else to blame but ourselves. We can get caught up in negative thinking and it becomes a record that plays on repeat in our minds. The negative judgmental words someone may have mentioned in passing, at church or in grade school soon become our identity.
How can we begin to unravel the negativity? Worse we might believe it.
Friends, this simple tool when used consistently can change your perspective with yourself, your world view and help you dream again.
How do you use it? Simply download it and edit it according to your dreams and desires. Make sure to use words in the present tense and be positive. Next post it on a wall where you will see it every day. Then read it upon first waking up or before you go to bed at night. For better results read it both of those times. Then create a habit and read it 21 days or more in a row.
This practice ties into NLP when done consistently it can literally re-wire your brain! This has been an instrumental part of my transformation, in fact when I do this consistently, I need to update it every three months!
